I work primarily with individuals affected by cancer, including people who are newly diagnosed, currently in treatment, recovering after treatment, or navigating survivorship. I also work with individuals who are at increased risk of cancer, including those with inherited cancer syndrome and/or those preparing for prophylactic surgeries.
Common areas of support include managing treatment-related side effects, maintaining strength and muscle, supporting adequate intake, addressing food fears, and building a realistic eating pattern that supports your current needs and long-term health.
-
No referral is required to schedule a nutrition consultation with me. You are welcome to reach out directly.
However, depending on your medical history, cancer treatment plan, or current symptoms, I may recommend coordinating with your oncology team or other members of your healthcare team to make sure your nutrition care is aligned with your overall treatment plan.
-
At this time, I do not accept insurance. Insurance reimbursement often does not adequately cover the level of personalized support, education, and follow-up that I aim to provide.
However, I can provide a superbill upon request. You may submit this to your insurance provider to see if you are eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual plan.
-
At this time, all nutrition consultations are provided through telehealth. This allows me to work with more people and provide support in a flexible and accessible way.
Telehealth appointments are conducted virtually, so you can meet with me from the comfort of your home.
-
Because nutrition counseling laws vary by state, I can only provide medical nutrition therapy to individuals residing in certain states.
Please contact me to find out whether I am able to provide nutrition care based on where you live. If I am unable to work with you directly, I may be able to suggest ways to find an oncology dietitian in your area.

My approach is individualized and flexible. Rather than providing a rigid meal plan, I help you understand what your body needs and how to build meals that work for your symptoms, preferences, schedule, budget, and treatment plan.
When helpful, I may provide meal ideas, snack options, grocery suggestions, or simple structure to make eating feel more manageable.
